1. Who We Are

This website (navxsims.com) and the products described on it — including NavXSim, DRONA AI, and related simulation and training platforms — are operated by:

Navxsim Tech Pvt. Ltd.
Noida Extension, Gautam Budh Nagar, U.P., India – 201318
Email: info@navXSims.com

Navxsim Tech Pvt. Ltd. is the "data controller" for the personal data described in this policy — the entity responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed.

We serve visitors and customers around the world, including in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws. This policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors located there, alongside applicable data protection laws in other regions we operate in.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

a) Information you give us directly

When you submit a "Book a Demo" or contact form on this site, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Organization / company name (optional)
• The product or solution you're interested in
• Your message, including anything you choose to tell us about your training needs, deployment preferences, or partnership/investment interest
• The IP address your submission came from, included in the email notification our team receives — used to help identify spam/fraudulent submissions and understand where enquiries originate. It is not used to track your activity elsewhere on the site.

b) Information collected automatically

• Language preference — which of our English, Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), or Filipino site versions you're using, stored in a cookie so we can keep showing you that language on later visits.
• Approximate location, from your IP address — on your very first visit only, if you haven't already chosen a language, we send your IP address to a third-party IP-geolocation service to determine your country, so we can show you the site in Indonesian or Filipino by default if that fits your location. Only your IP address is shared for this purpose, no other data; it is used transiently for this one lookup and is not logged or stored by us. You can always change the language yourself using the switcher, regardless of this default.
• Advertising and analytics data — only if you accept optional cookies via our cookie banner (see Section 4). This may include how you found the site, pages you view, and interactions with our advertising, via Google Ads.

We do not require you to create an account to use this site, and we do not collect payment information through this website.

3. How and Why We Use Your Data

Purpose	Legal basis (GDPR)
Responding to your enquiry or demo request	Necessary to take steps at your request prior to a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries
Remembering your language preference	Necessary for the functioning of the site you requested (strictly necessary cookie — no consent required)
Advertising and analytics (Google Ads)	Your consent, given via the cookie banner — you may decline this without affecting your ability to use the site or contact us
Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting records for closed deals)	Legal obligation

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your enquiry data to send unsolicited marketing unless you separately opt in to that.

4. Cookies We Use

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function properly without them.

Cookie	Purpose	Type	Duration
navx_lang	Remembers your chosen site language (English / Indonesian / Filipino)	Strictly necessary — always active	1 year
navx_consent	Remembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again on every visit	Strictly necessary — always active	6 months
Google Ads cookies (_gcl_* and related)	Advertising conversion tracking via Google Ads	Optional — only set if you click "Accept All"	Set by Google; varies

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.

5. Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run this site and respond to your enquiries, under contractual obligations to protect your data:

• Email delivery provider — used to route contact-form submissions to our team's inbox.
• IP-geolocation provider — on your first visit only, to determine your country and pick a sensible default language. Only your IP address is sent; no other data.
• Google Ads — only if you accept optional cookies, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

Navxsim Tech Pvt. Ltd. is based in India. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another region with data transfer restrictions, submitting a form on this site may involve transferring your data to India and to the countries where our service providers (including Google) operate, which may not have the same data protection laws as your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our service providers.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep contact-form and demo-request data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of our business communications with you — typically no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, accounting records for a completed contract) or you ask us to delete it sooner.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to our processing of your data
• Port your data to another provider in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (e.g. advertising cookies), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@navXSims.com. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR.

9. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for maritime training institutions, professionals, and organizations. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact or demo forms on this site.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted (TLS) transmission of form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

12. Contact Us

For any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@navXSims.com or by post at the address in Section 1.
